Situation: A 36–year–old truck driver had severe allergic rhinitis and came for treatment.
Reaction: Oh my God, why was he not prescribed azelastine nasal spray?
Lasson: Make sure to avoid oral antihistamines in persons who perform tasks like driving as they may cause sedation and drowsiness; instead prescribe azelastine nasal spray which is effective and non–sedating.
